Definitely my favorite city in Italy. This being my second visit I probably
should have tried to explore things off the beaten path but how can you pass up
these sites:
I was told that ruins look better in black and white:
(The Colosseum)
(Arch of Titus @ Roman Forum)
I love purple flowers. This tree looks ideal for sitting and reading under:
(Palatine Hill)
This monument celebrates the unification of Italy. The horse statue in the middle is the biggest horse statue IN THE WORLD:
I threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, fingers crossed for a third visit to Rome! Shouldn't be a problem though, because all roads lead to Rome.
(Trevi Fountain)
Saved the best for last. The Pantheon is my favorite. The technology used to build this thing was way ahead of it's time. Lots of Pythagorean Theorem, which is probably the best theorem out of all theorems.
